We are pleased to announce the promotion of Paolo Campos to Principal at Patriquin Architects. Paolo joined our office in January 2016 after fifteen years of experience in the field, during which his work spanned projects in higher education, laboratory and research, multi-family, and community.

Since his arrival, he has helped create project teams that take on increasingly complex design and construction challenges, such as those for Slate School, Saint Mary Place, and the Quinnipiac River Oyster Farm. He has also deftly managed many projects for ongoing institutional clients, such as Wesleyan University, the Westover School, and Yale University.

Paolo’s outstanding organizational skills, work ethic, and ability to find team solutions have made him a sought-after team leader and board member in our broader architectural community. He serves as AIA Connecticut’s President-Elect, is the current President and a founding member of NOMAct, is a member of AIA CT’s Building Performance and Regulations Committee, and is a Committee Member of AIA CT’s J.E.D.I. Community, advancing issues of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the AEC world.

Within the office, he is our staffing director, code aficionado, IT guru, 3D printing champion, and mentor to younger architects, as well as a constant voice promoting multi-faceted approaches to building sustainability.

We are proud that Paolo has taken on this new challenge of leadership within our office, and wish him much success.
