This historic building in Norwich, CT known as Geer’s Block was built circa 1878. The longtime home to an insurance company, with a large vault in the basement, our modernization proposes a mixed-use building of cafe/restaurant on the street level and four apartments on the upper floors.

On the ground floor, the original mosaic floor, complete with the insurance company’s monogram, will greet visitors to the new restaurant space. Dark oak-paneled walls and heavy architectural detailing surround the space. On the upper floors, apartments are laid out to take advantage of ample windows in open-plan spaces.
