We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Jeannette Penniman to Senior Associate at Patriquin Architects.

A Connecticut native, she joined our office in 2019, continuing a journey in architecture and environmental stewardship which began at Yale and was followed by working at two pre-eminent architectural firms in San Antonio and Philadelphia.

Since her arrival, Jeannette has blended exemplary design and communications skills with insatiable curiosity, tremendous enthusiasm and a natural ease with clients, consultants and collaborators on projects large and small. She has contributed to numerous academic, multifamily, and cultural projects while also playing a vital role in strengthening our marketing, communications and sustainability efforts.

Her keen interest in sustainable design and construction drove her to earn PHIUS Consultant certification in 2019, which she has used to lead numerous Passive House projects, including the comprehensive renovation of our historic Kings Block office building.  

Jeannette continues to drive our practice forward as our resident energy modeling and building simulations guru, aiding in our mission to make a more resilient, sustainable and beautiful built environment through our adaptive reuse and new construction projects.

As she marks the start of her third year with us, we celebrate her many personal and professional successes, and are excited to see her continued growth as a designer and leader.
