Hello, Friends! Happy New Year! We’re starting out with a bang by sharing with you our pictures and thoughts on the groundbreaking of the Friends Center for Children (FCFC) in New Haven, CT. 3. Roìa: A Timeless Restaurant in New Haven’s Historic Taft Building

The grand dining room space of the Taft Hotel at 261 College Street in the heart of New Haven was built in 1912 and was originally connected to the hotel lobby. The space had undergone many changes and additions in the intervening century when chef/owner Avi Szapiro and his partner decided to renovate it into a modern American bistro. (Read on for more…)

5. More Groundbreaking News! (Jefferson Commons)

On Friday, October 4th, we were excited to break ground on a new multi-family housing development site in New London, CT! Working with The Connection Fund, we have designed 12 garden-style apartments around a central green space. Photovoltaics, structural insulated panels (SIPs) and sensitive siting are some of the sustainable features of the project. (Read on for more…)
