For a little taste of our own farm-to-table projects, here are three that we are proud to have been a part of:

Restaurant: Roia Restaurant
Location: New Haven, CT
Website: www.roiarestaurant.com

Design Firm/Architecture: Grayling Design and Patriquin Architects
Portfolio: Roia Restaurant

Year: 2013

Inspiration: This French and Italian bistro-style restaurant which recently got an ‘excellent’ review in the New York Times, was designed in the Dining Room of the historic Taft Hotel of 1912.

Restaurant: Zinc Restaurant
Location: New Haven, CT
Website: zincfood.com

Designer/Architecture Firm: Clover Design (Heather Bensko) & Karin Patriquin Architect
Portfolio: Zinc Restaurant

Year: 2010

Inspiration: Farm-fresh foods are presented in an ever-changing menu based on seasonal harvests. Metal-mesh curtains subtlely divide the space into various areas. Acoustic clouds & new lighting create an intimate feel at the bar.

Restaurant: Kitchen Zinc
Location: New Haven, CT
Website: kitchenzinc.com
Architecture/Design Firm: Karin Patriquin Architect & Clover Design (Heather Bensko)
Portfolio: Kitchen Zinc

Year: 2009

Inspiration: This historic space, originally a fur vault, is built of brick and concrete. The New York Times called the new space an ‘attractive farmhouse-kitchen-meets-urban-chic aesthetic.’
